How Can My Major Make the World a Better Place

Hi everyone! I'm studying Engineer in Natural Renewable Resources, and when I decided to study this career, I had a very clear objective in mind: help to save the world from climate change, and in fact, I think this major can make the world a better place. This career helps to solve environmental and social problems in a very holistic and integral way, because we can bring sensitive solutions over different territories, a very important profession in a world with multifactorial crisis. In this process, I can see myself as a story-teller of different realities, trying to communicate to the people what I've learn about how the world works, and sharing the importance of taking care of the problems that the human beings have developed. It's important to reverse the critical state of Earth, and this major bring us the knowledge and tools to solve those types of problems.

A photo and it's story

Hi everybody! This family picture shows a cute moment. It was taken on December, 2020, and it was the 90's birthday of my grandma Adriana (on the right). At the left, we have Cristina (my cousin), Luciano (my boyfriend), Ana, (my mom, she's wearing a purple coat), Pato (my favourite cousin), me, and Ine (Pato's mom, sitting with my grandma). Our family has aproximately 50 members, and that day we met all togheter for the first time in 2020 (because of the pandemic restrictions). It's an important picture because I was so excited to see all my family together again, and it's important too because I didn't see my mom for a whole year... We had a fight in 2019, and in the picture's day we reconcilied. She hugged me without words, I cried like a baby, and everything was fine again! It's avery emotional picture!
